Charlotte Widick, MSN, RN, ACNP/BC – Nurse Practitioner / President
Charlotte is a certified nurse practitioner with a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She developed the concept of an integrative community health center in collaboration with experts in the field. Healing Arts Community Health Center of Blanco & Canyon Lake is the expression of her dream to create a patient-centered practice with a holistic approach, an empathic ear, a compassionate heart and a community vision. She enjoys getting to know patients and guiding them through their health journey. Charlotte has been engaged in health care services for more than 20 years. She has been a nurse practitioner since 1998. She is pursuing certification as an advanced holistic nurse and a medicinal aromatherapist. She was previously on the graduate school faculty of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Charlotte’s interests include reading, gardening, bicycling, astronomy and yoga. Charlotte and her partner in life and business, Jim, made the Blanco and Canyon Lake area their home in 2007. They have 2 daughters, a son and a grandchild. They enjoy trips to Wyoming to relax, revel in the mountains, and to visit family. While visiting Wyoming, she stays at her cabin in the Esterbrook Mountains, which is also available for rental.
Dane Mosher, DO – Supervising Physician
Dane Mosher grew up in Spring, Texas, a suburb of Houston. He completed his BS degree in Mathematics from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, after which he pursued a career in computer programming. He changed careers in 1999, becoming one of the primary brewers of Real Ale Brewing Company in Blanco during its formative years. In 2002, he pursued a career in medicine and reluctantly had to leave Blanco to get his training. He graduated from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth (Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 2006, and finished his residency training in Family Medicine in 2009 at East Tennessee State University in Kingsport. In 2009, he returned to the Blanco area. His primary areas of interest include Functional Medicine, Osteopathic manipulation, and working with children who have developmental delays.
Margaret Boswell, L.Ac., MSOM. – Acupuncturist
Margaret is a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist with a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Austin, Texas. Margaret has been in private practice since 2003. She has studied both Raphaelite Healing and Matrix Energetics healing. She is qualified to teach meditation and healing techniques. She has also studied Quantum Touch healing, color and sound therapy, and the NADA auricular therapies. Margaret focuses her practice on whole body/whole life wellness, believing that true healing includes body, mind and spirit, and affects all aspects of one’s life.
